This expansion to 34 contracted municipalities was brought
about through the addition of Plymouth Township and North
Wales Borough. We also provided assistance to Horsham
Township in the development of a zoning ordinance to assist in
implementing the recommendations contained in the business
parks master plan that we recently prepared for the township.
Hatboro Borough also joined the community assistance
program in 2016; contract work will begin in 2017.
As part of these community assistance contracts, our planners
attended several hundred municipal planning commission
meetings to review plans and discuss important local issues.
They also provided various professional planning services to
address timely planning issues including plan preparation,
development ordinance drafting, grant writing, special design
studies, fiscal impact analysis, and economic development
marketing. Examples of the many municipal projects we
successfully performed in 2016 include:
